Correcting bomb landing locations – by EB

There were houses bombed in my road, I went to the Library a few years ago and they had a childrens’ exhibition all about the war in Ham and one part said no bombs fell in Ham and I went and told the Librarian that’s wrong, the bombs did fall in Ham and she said could you write me an article about it, so I wrote an article about how they fell on Mead Road, Lock Road, Craig Road, New Road, it was a string of bombs, they were aiming for Hawkers, or Leylands as it was then, and missed or they were unloading before they went home, but the whole string went across.
